Hurdles Tsvetelina Kirilova, who made it to the semi finals of 400m at Beijing, finished third with 325 points.

Ivet Lalova made it to the semi-final of the Olympic Games in Beijing and the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Valencia earlier this year. "2008 was a comparatively good year for me. I am pleased about making a return to the ellite group, however I am still a little unsatisfied as I could not make it to the final of the Olympic Games in Beijing," said Lalova.

"My primary goal in 2009 is the World Championship in Berlin. If my preparation goes fine, I will also try to participate in the European indoor Championship in Torino in March," she added.
